Search Engine placement

The next step in the process (and possibly the most important) is to apply to the 10 major search engines on the Internet to list your site. Search Engines are powerful web spider programs that search out, categorize, and list information about web sites on the Internet so that when you request information about a specific subject, the search engine can return the URL address of the site where the information is stored. This comes to you in the form of hyperlinked text that you click on and it takes you straight to the site. Placement of your web site within the search engines is critical for directing Internet traffic to your site. Without traffic, no business. Search engine registration is pointless without monthly maintenance, is very time consuming, AND absolutely necessary. Web Resources will handle (at an extra charge) search engine registration, monthly (minimum) resubmissions, and placement monitoring for you (but only if directed to do so) when we create you web site. Initial registration is an additional charge of $50 and monthly monitoring /resubmissions are by the hour (typically 15 minutes or $12.50). You will receive reports via e-mail detailing the progress of your position in the search engine and what is being done to improve that position. The goal here is to get your site into the top 30 hits for searches in your category.
